Augmented and diminished Triads

The other two types of triads are named after the quality of their fifth:

Notice that both thirds in the diminished triad are minor, and both thirds in the Augmented triad are Major.



Construct some Augmented and diminished triads above the given note below:


Label the quality of the following triads (A/M/m/d).
Remember: Look at the fifth first; if it is Augmented or diminished, you don't even have to look at the third!
