The score for a play by Peter Shaffer (Equus, Amadeus). A young professor visits the widow of a famous, recently deceased playwright about whom he wants to write a biography. Over the course of the play, he learns of the dark and disturbing secrets the playwright, who is also his estranged father, held. Scott’s score was premiered at a staged reading of the play at the John Drew Theatre of Guild Hall in East Hampton, NY, on July 8, 2011. The performance was directed by Tony Walton and starred Alec Baldwin, Melissa Errico, Jerry Adler, Harris Yulin, and Sam Underwood.
