• Young Composer Winner of POLYPHONOS competition; awarded commission to write an unaccompanied choral work (L'Invitation au Voyage) for Seattle-based choir The Esoterics to be premiered in April 2008 (July 2007)
• Recipient of a commission from the Hanson Institute for American Music Student Commissioning Program to perform a new work by composer Jacob Bancks as part of a duo recital with guitarist Dieter Hennings in Chicago, IL (December 2006)
• Selected to present The Stolen Child (2006) in a private workshop at the Eastman School with composer Jacob Avshalomov (November 2006)
